Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Vegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Walker!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Vegas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vegas fails to land the takedown.
Walker leaves Vegas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Walker.
Vegas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vegas dives in and grabs Walker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes down on Vegas's head and hops out.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vegas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vegas off to one side.
Walker dives in and grabs Vegas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vegas pushes down on Walker's head and hops out.
Vegas shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Walker avoids a kick to the body.

Vegas throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Vegas is breathing heavily.
Vegas scores with a jab. Walker acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vegas jumps guard and drags Walker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Walker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vegas wants to stand and escape but Walker is having none of it.
Vegas is trying to hold Walker in close to prevent damage but Walker has managed to pass into half guard.

Walker trying to control the action but Vegas is working from the bottom.

Walker decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Nice takedown defense from Vegas. No joy for Walker on that attempt.
Vegas thuds his shin into the meat of Walker's side.

Walker closes the distance and pushes Vegas back into the cage.

Walker manages to break the clinch.
Vegas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Walker.
Walker checks a low kick from Vegas.
Vegas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Walker misses with an uppercut. Vegas saw that one coming.
Vegas darts in looking for a takedown but Walker gets double underhooks and turns Vegas into the cage.
Walker lands a knee to the head.
Vegas is pressed up against the cage. Walker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vegas down to the mat. Vegas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vegas's waist but Vegas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walker drives through and clinches with Vegas against the cage.

Vegas is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Walker dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Vegas throws the kick towards the body but Walker avoids it.

Walker dives in for a single leg takedown but Vegas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Vegas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Vegas pulls guard effortlessly.
Walker stops Vegas from standing up.
Vegas trying to keep a closed guard but Walker is proving a slippery customer.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vegas, up you get!

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Vegas will probably get the nod.
That's time! Vegas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vegas tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vegas to the ground. Vegas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Walker throws a wild body kick that Vegas sees coming a mile off.
Vegas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walker pinned against the cage. Walker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Vegas shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vegas moves out of range of the body kick.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Vegas.
I think Vegas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
