Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick K Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kivi Kipelainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kipelainen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by To Vahalla!. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick K Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kivi Kipelainen!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kipelainen drives through with a takedown into Chang's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Kipelainen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Chang has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Chang tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kipelainen defends well and Chang ends up having to push Kipelainen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rick K Chang.

I would just about give that final round to Kivi Kipelainen.
Well Kipelainen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
