Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janek Kochanowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud comes to the cage accompanied by Septic Flesh - Pyramid God. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kochanowski's choice of entrance music: Sting Of The Bumblebee. Glenn Stroud is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Janek Kochanowski!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud doesn't manage to clinch there - Kochanowski circles away.
Kochanowski tries to clinch but Stroud is having none of it.
Stroud shoots for a double leg takedown but Kochanowski sprawls well. He's pushed Stroud's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stroud working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kochanowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kochanowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
I've been told that Kochanowski has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kochanowski connects with a couple of short punches.
Kochanowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stroud swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stroud has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kochanowski won't allow Stroud to sweep him here.

Stroud has his foot on Kochanowski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kochanowski works his way back into a safe position though.

Stroud had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kochanowski defends it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kochanowski is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Stroud has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kochanowski is looking to defend but Stroud has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kochanowski! Stroud pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kochanowski taps out and this one is all over!
