PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast comes to the cage accompanied by MEAT. Erikson has chosen PrideFC as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beast gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Erikson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Beast on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beast tries to get out of the position.
Beast wants to stand but Erikson is controlling the position.
Erikson is in close to Beast's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Erikson lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Beast is wriggling around but Erikson manages to pass to half guard.

Beast knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Erikson on the ground.
Erikson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Beast is staying active underneath Erikson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Erikson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Beast tries to kick Erikson off but Erikson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Erikson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beast with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Erikson cracks Beast with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Erikson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Beast is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Erikson!
