The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laffer looks for a takedown but Oppeboen sprawls well.
Laffer closes the distance and clinches up with Oppeboen, looking for a takedown. Laffer pushes Oppeboen against the cage but Oppeboen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Laffer tries for a takedown but Oppeboen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Laffer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laffer shoots in looking for a takedown. Oppeboen tries to sprawl out of it but Laffer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oppeboen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Laffer tries for a takedown but Oppeboen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Laffer shoots for a double leg takedown but Oppeboen sprawls well. He's pushed Laffer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Oppeboen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Laffer dodges the punch combination from Oppeboen.
Oppeboen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laffer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oppeboen grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Laffer takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Oppeboen cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
