Del Fuego comes to the cage accompanied by La gota fria. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Del Fuego counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gruber thinking.
Gruber throws a shot from downtown. Del Fuego moves away and avoids it.
Gruber scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gruber throws the left hand but Del Fuego avoids the punch easily.
Del Fuego has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight.
Gruber takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Del Fuego clinches up with Gruber and pushes him back against the cage.
Del Fuego manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Del Fuego manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gruber manages to get himself to full guard.
Del Fuego sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gruber's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gruber has hold of Del Fuego's hands but Del Fuego slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Del Fuego trying to mount his opponent but Gruber defends it.
Del Fuego is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gruber!
