Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikita Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helios Garcius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nikita Bam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Helios Garcius!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bam. Garcius does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garcius has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Garcius is looking to clinch but Bam is avoiding it.

We've been told by Bam's head coaches at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
