Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Linwood Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dire Rhea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dire Rhea has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Linwood Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dire Rhea!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rhea fakes the leg kick and cracks Miller in the body.
Rhea scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Miller doesn't seem bothered though.

Rhea throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily.

Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rhea's waist but Rhea gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rhea fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miller has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Rhea, which made it look bad.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rhea.
Rhea throws a shot to the body.

Rhea closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Miller wants to stay close but Rhea steps back to make room for something. Miller seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Rhea and Miller drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
