The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fistface looks to land a right hand but Kwiecinski moved out of range.
Fistface throws a looping overhand right but Kwiecinski ducks down to avoid it.
Kwiecinski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kwiecinski wants it to stay on the feet.
Fistface throws the kick towards the body but Kwiecinski avoids it.

It looks like Matt Fistface has been cut.
The fighters circling - Fistface throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fistface fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kwiecinski avoids it really well and circles away.

and Kwiecinski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fistface's knee momentarily.
Kwiecinski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fistface is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kwiecinski's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Fistface looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kwiecinski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kwiecinski lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fistface throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kwiecinski.
Kwiecinski misses with a hook. Fistface ducked under it nicely.
Kwiecinski digs a good body shot into Fistface's ribs.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kwiecinski - that will leave a mark!
Kwiecinski connects with a right hand. Fistface shakes it off.
Kwiecinski fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fistface will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kwiecinski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fistface on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kwiecinski lands a big head kick that sends Fistface to the canvas! Kwiecinski follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
