The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concepcion avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Concepcion shoots in for a double leg but Edigani sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
An inside leg kick lands from Edigani.
Concepcion shoots in for a takedown but Edigani shows good takedown defense.

Concepcion drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Concepcion drops back, looking for a kneebar! Edigani looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Edigani looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Edigani!

Edigani throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Concepcion blocks it with crossed arms.
Edigani tries a body shot but Concepcion blocks it.
Concepcion tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Edigani smiles and moves away.

Edigani has Concepcion up against the cage in a clinch.
Concepcion tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Edigani just stands there and leans against the cage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Edigani creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Concepcion's defenses.
Edigani lands an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Edigani creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Edigani throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Concepcion blocks it with crossed arms.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Edigani misses with a punch to the body.
Edigani using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Edigani lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Edigani creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Edigani lands a left hand that snaps the head of Concepcion backwards.

Edigani manages to break the clinch.
Edigani tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Concepcion paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Edigani misses with a body shot.
Edigani shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Concepcion eats them both and turns towards Edigani to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

No luck for Concepcion with that takedown attempt.

Edigani gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Edigani's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Edigani throws out a leg kick but Concepcion moves out of range and Edigani only half commits.

Concepcion drives through with a takedown into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Concepcion drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Concepcion as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Edigani screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Concepcion! Nice submission victory there!
