Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raijin Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montana's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Push it to the Limit. Kage has chosen Gojira - Oroborus as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Montana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raijin Kage!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kage forces Montana back against the cage and clinches.
Montana wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kage has him pressed against the cage.
Montana is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kage tries to score a body lock takedown but Montana shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Montana is trying to push Kage away but Kage has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Kage has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Montana is trying to keep an underhook but Kage manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Montana tries to roll over but Kage keeps him under control.
Montana trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montana is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, if Kage is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kage works his way into side control.
Montana prevents Kage from improving position.
Montana tries to buck Kage off but Kage is having none of it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Montana avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kage.

Kage trying to control the position but Montana is working away.

Kage is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Montana is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Montana manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Montana regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kage is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Montana looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Montana controls Kage momentarily but Kage frees himself.
Kage passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kage is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Montana's shoulder. That is not cool.
It looks like Kage might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Montana is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kage connects with a decent elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Montana tries to improve position but can't.
Montana manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kage's best efforts.
Kage wants to control but Montana is keeping him busy.

Montana looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
We've been hearing good reports from Montana's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Montana trying to hold on to Kage's head to control him but Kage postures up.
Montana is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kage is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Montana has his hands clasped together around Kage's back. He's all about the action.
Montana tries to get to full guard but Kage has control of the leg.

Montana is looking for a sweep. Kage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Montana is working hard here to advance position.
Montana is trying to control but can't.
Kage is keen to just control but Montana is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Montana gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Kage raining down shots from the mount!
Montana keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kage connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kage trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kage scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Montana?
Kage is in the full mount, landing strikes.


Montana is rocked!
Kage loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Montana scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kage land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kage stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raijin Kage!
An out of breath Raijin Kage thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
