The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas thows a body shot but no joy.
Thomas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Thomas swats away the attempt to clinch by Bradshaw.

Bradshaw shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thomas is trying to defend but Bradshaw finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Thomas regains full guard. Nicely done.
Thomas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bradshaw manages to get himself to full guard.

Thomas stays in close to Bradshaw's body and controls the position.
Bradshaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thomas postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bradshaw wants to improve his position but instead Thomas has moved into half guard.

Bradshaw is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Thomas has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Thomas wants to control for a moment but Bradshaw uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Bradshaw on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Thomas winds up and cracks Bradshaw with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Thomas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bradshaw with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Thomas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bradshaw with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Oh Bradshaw is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Thomas working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Bradshaw throws a sloppy head kick and Thomas moves out of range easily.

Thomas arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Bradshaw's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
