Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimi Boubacar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Hadjiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Valentin Hadjiev!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadjiev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boubacar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boubacar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hadjiev takes a kick to the side of the head.
Boubacar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Boubacar moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Boubacar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hadjiev shoots in but Boubacar avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hadjiev goes for a double leg but Boubacar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Boubacar continues to drive forward.
Jimi Boubacar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Valentin Hadjiev.
Hadjiev goes for a takedown attempt but Boubacar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Boubacar tries a head kick but it misses.
Boubacar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Valentin Hadjiev has been cut.
Hadjiev shoots in and drives through. Boubacar sprawls well.
Boubacar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Boubacar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hadjiev. That did some damage!
Boubacar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hadjiev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boubacar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hadjiev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boubacar as he avoids it easily.
Hadjiev is trying desperately to land a takedown but Boubacar is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hadjiev.

A punch lands to the side of Hadjiev 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hadjiev is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Look low, kick high! Boubacar uses the oldest trick in the book to send Hadjiev tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Boubacar is absolutely delighted - when Hadjiev wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
