The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Den Berg misses with a few strikes there.
Laitela really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Laitela.
Van Den Berg lands an overhand right.
Laitela closes this distance looking for a takedown but Van Den Berg circles away.
Van Den Berg drops Laitela with a right and a left! Van Den Berg comes rushing in but Laitela regains his composure and manages to keep Van Den Berg in guard.

Van Den Berg wants to get up but he can't break Laitela's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Van Den Berg cracks Laitela on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Laitela falls backwards against the cage. Van Den Berg follows up with more strikes that drop Laitela to his knees. Van Den Berg keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Laitela! This one is all over!
