Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bob Dylan - Hurricane. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Carter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carter looks to land a combination. Stevens sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

We've been told by Stevens's head coaches at Bi-polar Asylum that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Carter thows a body kick. Stevens tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Mike Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Stevens sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.

Stevens misses with a few strikes there.
Stevens on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Rubin Carter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Stevens throws an overhand right that lands on Carter's shoulder, as Carter tries to avoid the shot.

Stevens lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rubin Carter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Stevens looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
