Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yang defends well and Perez ends up having to push Yang into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Perez looking to score a takedown here. Yang is defending well but Perez drives through and ends up in Yang's guard.
Perez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Perez is looking to advance position but Yang has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Yang is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Perez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Perez shrugs it off.
Perez bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perez wanted to stand there but Yang had control of the position.
Yang is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Perez dives into side control.
Yang is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Yang is working to avoid the ground and pound but Perez connects with a decent elbow.

Perez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Yang has escaped the position, nice work there.

Yang is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
