The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luff looks to score with a jab to the body but Thunderstorm is just out of range.
Thunderstorm tries for a takedown but Luff circles away easily

and Luff counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Thunderstorm taking punishment in the form of punches.
Thunderstorm takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Luff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thunderstorm is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Luff has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Luff lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Thunderstorm down.
Thunderstorm takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Luff scores with punches from side control.
Thunderstorm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Luff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Luff cracks Thunderstorm with a big right hand but Thunderstorm just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Luff lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Luff postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Thunderstorm badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Luff around the waist but Luff pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Luff is the winner by TKO! Luff jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
