Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wilbur Bradshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bradshaw closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morgan's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Morgan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Morgan wants to sweep but no luck.
Bradshaw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Morgan working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bradshaw has passed into half guard!
Morgan is looking for a sweep. Bradshaw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bradshaw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bradshaw wants to stand up but Morgan has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Morgan desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Morgan wants to improve his position but Bradshaw is controlling well.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mark Morgan.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bradshaw misses with a takedown

and Morgan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Morgan avoiding damage.

Bradshaw just leaning against Morgan, taking a breather.

Morgan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Morgan is struggling to control the position.
Morgan lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Wilbur Bradshaw has been cut.

Morgan lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bradshaw wants to control but Morgan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bradshaw is concentrating on defense, preventing Morgan from advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bradshaw keeps working.

Morgan is looking for a kimura but Bradshaw is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Morgan to get the leverage.

Bradshaw is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bradshaw shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Morgan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morgan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Morgan has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Bradshaw! Can he survive? No! He's out! Morgan gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
