Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Octavio Camacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Hinkley!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camacho leaves Hinkley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hinkley shoots in and drives through. Camacho sprawls well.
Hinkley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camacho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hinkley somewhat.
Octavio Camacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Hinkley.

Hinkley gets caught napping as Camacho dives in and scores a takedown. Hinkley manages to retain guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Camacho stops Hinkley from standing up.
Camacho is looking to work some ground and pound but Hinkley has wrist control.
Camacho has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hinkley is proving hard to escape from.
Hinkley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Camacho is controlling him.
Camacho is in close to Hinkley's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Camacho makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Camacho wants to stand but Hinkley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Camacho drops back looking for a leg! Hinkley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hinkley manages to kick Camacho off! Camacho jumps back into Hinkley's guard.

Hinkley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Camacho is controlling him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hinkley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Camacho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Camacho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Camacho is looking to work some ground and pound but Hinkley has wrist control.
Camacho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hinkley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Camacho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Camacho lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Camacho drops back looking for a leg! Hinkley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hinkley manages to kick Camacho off! Camacho jumps back into Hinkley's guard.

Camacho decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hinkley, up you get!
Hinkley fails with the takedown

and Camacho counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Camacho.
Hinkley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Camacho gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Camacho breaks from the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Camacho shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Camacho is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Camacho in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hinkley tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Camacho!
