Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Ransom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kar Caminsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Ransom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kar Caminsky!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caminsky scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Caminsky is looking to stall here but Ransom recovers full guard.
Ransom is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Caminsky won't allow Ransom to sweep him here.
Ransom doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Caminsky wants to pass the guard but Ransom is keeping the position.

Caminsky drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ransom manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Caminsky has Ransom in his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Caminsky controls Ransom momentarily but Ransom frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kar Caminsky will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Ransom shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ransom wants to clinch.
Caminsky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ransom is fending him off so far but Caminsky persists. Nope, Ransom circles away and we're back to standing.
Ransom pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Ransom.
Caminsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ransom paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ransom closes the distance and clinches up with Caminsky, looking for a takedown. Ransom pushes Caminsky against the cage but Caminsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Caminsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Ransom shoots in but no luck this time.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ransom darts in looking for a takedown but Caminsky gets double underhooks and turns Ransom into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Ransom. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Caminsky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ransom walks away with a smile on his face. Caminsky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Caminsky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ransom napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Ransom gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Ransom wants to control but Caminsky is having none of it.

Ransom is trying to maintain the position but Caminsky is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ransom is looking for a sweep. Caminsky is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Caminsky is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ransom lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Ransom is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close second round but I would say that William Ransom will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ransom shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ransom was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Caminsky tries to buck Ransom off but Ransom is having none of it.

Ransom shoots in looking for a takedown but Caminsky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ransom's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ransom is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Caminsky is trying to hold Ransom in close to prevent damage but Ransom has managed to pass into half guard.
Ransom passes into side control, despite Caminsky's attempt to control the position.

William Ransom showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ransom has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
