Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chirag Bansal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfe Turnner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alfe Turnner looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfe Turnner!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turnner blocks a head kick by Bansal.
Turnner darts in looking for a takedown but Bansal gets double underhooks and turns Turnner into the cage.
Turnner looking for a takedown.
Turnner is looking to break free of the clinch but Bansal has double underhooks.
A head punch on the inside from Turnner fails to land.
Turnner wants a takedown but no success here.
Chirag Bansal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alfe Turnner.

Bansal seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Turnner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Turnner has eaten all the pies!

Bansal wants the takedown. Turnner is fighting it off but Bansal persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Turnner's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Bansal postures up in Turnner's guard and throws a big left but Turnner blocks it.

Bansal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We're going to have a standup here because Chirag Bansal wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Bansal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turnner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Turnner wants to control but Bansal postures up.

Bansal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turnner tries to avoid it but Bansal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turnner to the ground. Turnner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Turnner wants to break the clinch but can't.
Turnner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bansal after a bit of a struggle.

Turnner tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bansal avoids it.
Turnner tries to pull guard but Bansal won't allow it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bansal.

Bansal blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Turnner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bansal after a bit of a struggle.
Bansal tries to throw a body punch but Turnner avoids it by throwing Bansal back against the cage.
Turnner is trying to break the clinch but Bansal is controlling him.
A head punch on the inside from Turnner fails to land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bansal jumps guard and drags Turnner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Turnner tries to free his leg and advance position but Bansal is retaining full guard.
Bansal is looking to stand up but Turnner isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Bansal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Turnner!
Turnner can't do much from the bottom here.
Bansal tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Bansal is looking to take a break and control but Turnner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Turnner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bansal wants to control but Turnner is keeping him busy.
Bansal tries to move to mount but Turnner blocks the move with his legs.
Chirag Bansal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bansal lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Turnner has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Turnner and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bansal trying to control the position from guard on top but Turnner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Turnner can't keep his opponent in guard - Bansal advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Turnner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bansal is looking to take a break and control but Turnner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Bansal tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Turnner is squirming around, avoiding Bansal's attempts to control the action.

Bansal lands a heavy elbow.
Turnner stops Bansal from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Bansal looking to control and managing it successfully.
Bansal is looking to stand but Bansal has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Bansal prevents Turnner from getting the reversal.
Bansal lands a couple of good shots and Turnner has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Bansal has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Bansal is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Turnner defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Alfe Turnner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chirag Bansal is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
