The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Battistoni tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Battistoni's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

A relieved looking Nino Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
