The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hing Jr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hing Jr trying to control the action but Mansikka is working from the bottom.
The ground and pound from Hing Jr seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Hing Jr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hing Jr controlling the position from side mount.
Hing Jr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mansikka is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hing Jr cracks Mansikka with a big right hand but Mansikka just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Mansikka is trying to control Hing Jr's posture but Hing Jr avoids it.

Hing Jr tries to control but Mansikka wriggling away.
Hing Jr is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mansikka can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Mansikka is looking to improve his position but Hing Jr isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mansikka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hing Jr pinned against the cage. Hing Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mansikka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hing Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mansikka has hold of Hing Jr's hands but Hing Jr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Hing Jr wants to work for an arm triangle but Mansikka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hing Jr is trying to work for a kimura but Mansikka is defending well.
Mansikka is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hing Jr's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hing Jr's back!
Hing Jr tries to break free.
Hing Jr manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mansikka's guard. Nice work there by Hing Jr.
Mansikka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hing Jr pushing down on Mansikka's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Hing Jr keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hing Jr stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hing Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Mansikka, which made it look bad.

Hing Jr lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Mansikka! More strikes land and this one is all over! Hing Jr jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
