Alessio manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Peterson on his heels. He'll look to pass Peterson's guard now, I'm sure.
Alessio pushes down on Peterson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Peterson wants to improve his position but Alessio is controlling well.

Alessio seems to be looking for submissions.
Alessio seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peterson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Alessio is looking for a kimura but Peterson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alessio to get the leverage.
Peterson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alessio on the ground.

Alessio is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Peterson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
