Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boko Shambles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Boko Shambles was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duncan Jon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boko Shambles!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shambles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jon but Jon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jon connects with a jab.
Jon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jon wants it to stay on the feet.
Shambles defending well as Jon loads up on a big left hand.
Shambles gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Shambles misses with a double jab.
Shambles darts in looking for a takedown but Jon gets double underhooks and turns Shambles into the cage.
Duncan Jon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boko Shambles.
Jon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jon drops Shambles with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shambles looks back up at him and smiles so Jon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Shambles is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Jon engages and cracks Shambles with a massive lead left hook - Shambles tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Jon is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Duncan Jon!
