Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Honda Housey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Punk is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Honda Housey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Punk!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Housey lands with a straight right. Punk didn't see that one coming.
Punk thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Housey if he has to take too many more of those.
Housey connects with a nice looking jab.
Punk looks to land a body kick but Housey moved away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Punk.
Housey sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Housey scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Housey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Punk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Housey is in Punk's guard.
Punk has his hands on Housey's head, controlling the position.
Housey passes into half guard.

Housey seems to be working for a kimura but Punk defends the submission attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Housey is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Housey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Punk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Housey moves nicely into side control.
Housey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Punk keeps working.

Housey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Housey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Housey tries to advance to mount but can't.
Punk is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Housey trying to control the position but Punk is working away.
Housey tries to advance to mount but Punk denies him.
Housey has knee on belly momentarily but Punk bucks him off and regains half guard.
Housey works his foot free and advances to mount.

Housey goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Punk is on top in guard.

Punk is posturing up here but Housey has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Punk tries to roll out but it's too tight and Punk has to tap! Slick submission there by Housey!
