Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Al Drake!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drake takes the fight into the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Drake has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Santos has picked Drake up - he's going for a ride! Santos dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Santos is looking for a kimura here.

Drake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Drake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Santos closes the distance and pushes Drake back into the cage.

Drake is trying to trip Santos. He has hold of a leg but Santos is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Drake persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Santos quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Drake has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Santos celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
