The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Harrington circles away.
Silva wants to clinch up but Harrington keeps it at a distance.

and Harrington counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Harrington is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.
Harrington is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Harrington pulls his head out easily.

Harrington seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.
Silva is trying to get back to full guard.

Silva scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Harrington manages to mount him!

Harrington looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Silva can't escape the position.

Harrington goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Silva turns into him and now he's in Harrington's guard.

Silva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Harrington is proving hard to escape from.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Harrington is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harrington manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Harrington's guard.

Harrington's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Silva is holding on here and Harrington must be using up a lot of energy. Silva has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Harrington gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
