Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ralph Barry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dennis Allen!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Hemmingworth and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barry throws a looping overhand right but Allen ducks down to avoid it.
Allen cracks the inside of Barry's front leg.
Barry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barry scores with a body shot.
Allen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barry circles away quickly and effectively.
Barry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barry misses with a series of wild punches.
Allen fails with a takedown attempt.

Allen moves into range and clinches up with Barry.

Barry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Allen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Allen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Barry is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Allen is keeping busy.
Allen content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Barry fails to land with a series of punches.
Barry throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range.
Allen throws a right and a left that Barry avoids nicely.
Dennis Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Barry seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

A left and a right from Barry both land. Nice combination.
Allen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Allen closes the distance and clinches.

Allen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No joy there for Barry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Allen is working for takedown but Barry is calmly controlling the position for now.
Barry wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Allen has him pressed against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dennis Allen.
I think Allen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
