Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blazed Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Octavius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine DMX. Julius Octavius has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Blazed Gracie's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Octavius napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Octavius's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Octavius does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Octavius with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Octavius is doing well to control the position and prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.
Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round but I would say that Blazed Gracie will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
