Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between mr Ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ismah Ulhaq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ulhaq closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ben did well to prevent Ulhaq getting side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ulhaq is keen to just control but Ben is a slippery customer.

Ulhaq is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ben doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ulhaq.

Ulhaq winds up and cracks Ben with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Well, if Ulhaq is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ben is refusing to be controlled, as Ulhaq sits in half guard.

Ulhaq really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ben. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ulhaq is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ben defends it well.

Ulhaq is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ulhaq lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ulhaq is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Oh Ben is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ulhaq is looking for submissions but instead, Ben has regained full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ulhaq with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Ulhaq gets to his feet and stands over Ben, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ben felt that one! Ulhaq unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ben from any more punishment!
