Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Klingler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klaus Klingler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teppo Karhu!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klingler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karhu manages to avoid it.

Klingler looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Karhu!
Karhu tries to hold on but Klingler postures up.
Klingler content just to control the position here.
Karhu is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Klingler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Klingler fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Karhu tries to lock up and control but Klingler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Karhu is trying desperately to improve position.
Klingler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Klaus Klingler just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Klingler wants to slow Karhu down by chopping away at his legs.
Klingler tries to clinch but Karhu is having none of it.
Klingler swings for the body but Karhu moves out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Karhu has his takedown stuffed

and Klingler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Karhu's guard now.
Karhu controls Klingler momentarily but Klingler frees himself.
Karhu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Klingler controls the pace.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Klingler has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

What can Karhu do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

and Klingler counters with a shoot takedown. Karhu fights it but they end up in guard.

Klingler drops back looking for a leg! Karhu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Karhu manages to kick Klingler off! Klingler jumps back into Karhu's guard.
Klingler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Karhu's guard.

Klingler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Karhu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Klingler is taking a breather. Karhu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Klingler connects with a nice short shot to Karhu's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Klingler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Klingler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Klingler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Karhu swivels and escapes.
