Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Niklas Edmarker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Tuska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niklas Edmarker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Teppo Tuska's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Edmarker.
Tuska throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Edmarker's waist but Edmarker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tuska off to one side.

Tuska is trying desperately to improve position.

Edmarker is working for a guillotine from mount but Tuska frees his head quite easily.

Edmarker is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tuska can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Edmarker is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tuska has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tuska!

Tuska drops back looking for a leg! Edmarker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Edmarker manages to kick Tuska off! Tuska jumps back into Edmarker's guard.

Tuska drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tuska jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Edmarker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tuska is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Edmarker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tuska's back instead.

Tuska sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Edmarker's guard.

Tuska has hold of Edmarker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Edmarker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Tuska wants to free his trapped foot but Edmarker is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Edmarker is looking for a sweep. Tuska is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tuska frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tuska is working for a kimura but Edmarker is defending it quite comfortably.

Edmarker is looking for a triangle here but Tuska uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Tuska tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tuska has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tuska is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tuska wants to take a breather but Edmarker is having none of it.
Edmarker tries to roll over but Tuska keeps him under control.

That was a close round but I would say that Niklas Edmarker will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tuska is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
