The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodalgo stuffs the takedown attempt from Funkyama. Funkyama gets slowly back to his feet.

Rodalgo feints and as Funkyama raises his hands in defense, Rodalgo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Funkyama had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rodalgo defends it easily.

Rodalgo is looking to control Funkyama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rodalgo avoid being mounted?

Funkyama is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Rodalgo has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Funkyama is in a lot of trouble! Rodalgo is straining to finish and he's done it! Funkyama taps out! Amazing!
