Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Sargent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Sabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sargent gets a double leg takedown into Sabu's guard.

Sargent throws a strike but Sabu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sabu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sargent manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sabu has Sargent in his guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Wyatt Sargent just wasn't active enough.

Sargent closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sabu is trying to improve his position.
Sargent scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sabu to see if he's OK.

Sabu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sargent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sargent fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sabu, pushing him back against the cage.

Sabu wants the takedown. Sargent is fighting it off but Sabu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sargent's guard against the cage.

Sargent creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sabu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
