PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex hoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Those Dancin Days - Run Run. Alex hoke has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sonny Boy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sonny Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex hoke!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hoke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
hoke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boy pinned against the cage. Boy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

hoke drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
hoke tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Boy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on hoke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Boy wants to improve his position but hoke is controlling well.
Boy wants to get back to his feet.
Boy is holding on to half guard well.
hoke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boy won't allow hoke to pass to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy is controlling hoke's trapped leg to prevent hoke from advancing to side control.
Boy wants to control but hoke is keeping busy and won't allow it.
hoke throwing shots but Boy is blocking nicely.
Boy wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boy scores with a punch to the head.

Boy moves into the clinch.
hoke jumps guard but Boy stands there with hoke around his waist. hoke gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Boy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sonny Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
hoke throws a head kick but Boy moves out of range.
hoke closes the distance and clinches up with Boy, looking for a takedown. hoke pushes Boy against the cage but Boy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sonny Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex hoke.
A thudding body kick lands there by Boy!
hoke looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Boy moves into the clinch.

Boy manages to break the clinch.
Boy throws a series of punches but hoke avoids them all with ease.
A jab from Boy finds it's way through hoke's defenses.
Boy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Boy drives through and clinches with hoke against the cage.

Boy breaks from the clinch.
Boy throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh hoke colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Boy as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and hoke is left battered and dazed whilst Boy and his camp cheer!
