Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between denali fili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Jonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). denali fili has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonny tries to clinch but fili moves out of range.

Jonny wants to control from the top but fili keeps moving.
Jonny tries to free his leg and advance position but fili is retaining full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

fili uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jonny tries to clinch up but fili circles away and keeps his distance.
Oh, that's a big right hand from fili and Jonny goes tumbling to the canvas! fili follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Big Jonny has been cut.
Jonny slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

fili decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
fili fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

fili wriggles free and stands up.

fili closes the distance and clinches.

fili rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jonny moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
fili looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jonny darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jonny stalling away here and it's allowed fili to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jonny might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control fili kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

fili is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jonny's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jonny's back!
