The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baert swings and misses with a hook to the body.

It looks like Mother Effyew Ceekay has been cut.
Effyew Ceekay's coach down at Valhalla Training Grounds was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Effyew Ceekay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Effyew Ceekay lands a big head kick that sends Baert tumbling to the mat! Effyew Ceekay takes a step backwards and waves Baert back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Baert is rocked!

Oh Baert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baert is breathing heavily.
Effyew Ceekay is looking to chop away at Baert's legs.

Baert seems to have got his legs back now.
Effyew Ceekay finds Baert's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Baert flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Effyew Ceekay lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Baert will be OK.
