Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carl Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Nader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nader has chosen This Means War as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nader shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nader counters with a good, hard body kick but Johnson shrugs it off.
Nader is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A punch lands to the side of Nader 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.
Johnson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nader stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Nader closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
