The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blimm throws a sloppy head kick and McQuade moves out of range easily.

Nice combo by Blimm! Oh, that's hurt him - McQuade falls to the canvas and Blimm follows him into side control.

McQuade is rocked!

McQuade is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Blimm is controlling him well.

Bam Blimm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McQuade connects with a body shot that sends Blimm's belly button to the back.
Blimm feints and then cracks McQuade's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McQuade down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
