Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Mix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyril Boa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyril Boa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mix works the jab nicely.
Mix keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mix looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Alex Mix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mix scores with a shot to the body.
Mix connects with a jab.
Boa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Boa shoots in and bounces Mix off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Mix is looking for a triangle but Boa pushes his legs off easily.

Boa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Boa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Boa is trying to work for a kimura but Mix is defending well.
Mix holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Mix is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boa pulls his head out easily.

Boa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mix is just riding it out for now. Boa eventually gives up the hold.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boa wants to work for an arm triangle but Mix is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boa moves into full mount! Mix won't be happy about that!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Boa has control of Mix's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mix regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Mix knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boa on the ground.

BOOM! Boa connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Mix has left one of his arms exposed and Boa doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mix screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
