Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ren Hitogoroshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Timmy The Gun!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitogoroshi connects with a right hand. The Gun shakes it off.
The Gun shoots for a double leg takedown but Hitogoroshi sprawls well. He's pushed The Gun's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hitogoroshi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hitogoroshi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The Gun moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The Gun closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hitogoroshi circles away.
The Gun circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hitogoroshi scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice sprawl there from Hitogoroshi as The Gun shoots in.
Ren Hitogoroshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timmy The Gun.
Hitogoroshi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hitogoroshi throws a leg kick that misses.
Hitogoroshi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but The Gun is out of range.
The Gun keeps the fight on the outside.
The Gun takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hitogoroshi scores with the left hand. The Gun knows he should have avoided that one.
Hitogoroshi digs a good hook to The Gun's body.
The Gun fails to land the takedown.
Hitogoroshi wants to land a leg kick but The Gun is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hitogoroshi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.


The Gun is rocked!
Hitogoroshi drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks The Gun right on the button. The Gun goes down! Hitogoroshi follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hitogoroshi gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ren Hitogoroshi!
