Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Ertz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill tries to move into range but Ertz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Ertz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hill is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Hill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Hill feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ertzs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Ertz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Ertz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Ertz closes the distance and clinches up with Hill, looking for a takedown. Ertz pushes Hill against the cage but Hill circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hill is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Hill looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Hill goes for a double leg but Ertz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ertz continues to drive forward.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Ertz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hill with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ertz is nestled in close to Hill, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
