Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Tinnker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sam Tinnker has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Tinnker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lloyd Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tinnker with a poor takedown

and Thomas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tinnker's guard now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Thomas throws a strike but Tinnker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tinnker drops back looking for a leg! Thomas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thomas manages to kick Tinnker off! Tinnker jumps back into Thomas's guard.

Tinnker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tinnker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tinnker drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thomas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tinnker has Thomas in his guard.

Thomas is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Thomas throws an elbow that misses. Tinnker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Thomas's guard. Nice move by Tinnker!
Tinnker postures up in Thomas's guard and throws a big left but Thomas blocks it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thomas can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lloyd Thomas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thomas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
