Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blitzkrieg Rage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Partridge!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage tries to clinch but Partridge moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Partridge or perhaps it was just good defense by Rage which made him look bad.
Partridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rage but Rage pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Partridge closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rage to the mat! Rage manages to get full guard.
Partridge postures up.
Rage trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Rage has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Rage looking to hit a scissor sweep but Partridge is one step ahead there.

Rage looking for a sweep. Not yet Rage, not yet.
Rage keeping moving, preventing Partridge from controlling successfully.
Rage is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rage tries to pass to full mount but Partridge defends it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Partridge has Rage up against the cage in a clinch.
Partridge lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Rage has Partridge pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Partridge manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Rage prevents Partridge from breaking the clinch.
Partridge just leaning against Rage, taking a breather.

Rage jumps guard and drags Partridge to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Rage tries a body shot but Partridge blocks it.

Partridge tightens his grip and picks Rage up, before dumping him to the ground. Rage manages to land in guard.

Rage is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rage is really struggling to control Partridge but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Partridge lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rage backwards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Partridge has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rage is trying to keep an underhook but Partridge manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Rage wants to improve his position but Partridge is controlling well.

Partridge looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Partridge wants to take a breather but Rage is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Partridge wants to clinch up but Rage keeps it at a distance.
Blitzkrieg Rage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Partridge moves into range and clinches up with Rage.
Partridge creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Partridge tries to score a body lock takedown but Rage shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Partridge has had enough of the clinch but Rage keeps him there for the moment.
Partridge tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rage gets underhooks to prevent Partridge's takedown attempt.
Rage looking to stall.
Rage tries to pull guard but Partridge holds him up against the cage and eventually Rage drops back down to his feet.

Rage is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Partridge pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Rage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Partridge is working away from the top position though.

Alex Partridge showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rage rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Partridge moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rage stuffs the takedown attempt from Partridge. Partridge gets slowly back to his feet.

Partridge tries to break the clinch but Rage is controlling the position.

Rage shoots in but no luck this time.

Partridge drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rage manages to get back to half guard.

Rage tries to roll over but Partridge keeps him under control.

Partridge is trying to control the action in half guard but Rage is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rage is looking for a sweep. Partridge is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Partridge is looking to take a break and control but Rage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rage pushes Partridge off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Partridge shoots in for a double leg but Rage sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Partridge looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Partridge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rage tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Blitzkrieg Rage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Alex Partridge has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rage is looking to regain half guard here but Partridge keeps moving and retains side control.

Alex Partridge comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Partridge has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
