The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yasamoto gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Yasamoto jumps guard and drags Alessio to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yasamoto can do anything to dispel that myth.
Alessio not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Alessio drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yasamoto manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alessio has Yasamoto in his guard.

Yasamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alessio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Yasamoto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Alessio to the ground. Yasamoto is now in Alessio's guard.

Yasamoto rolls with it to try and escape but Alessio cranks on the arm and Yasamoto is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
