Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiao Macale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macale is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 56 - 23 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tiao Macale!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman Jr ducks under a wild hook from Macale.
Coleman Jr moves out of range of the strikes.
Macale throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Macale bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Coleman Jr's head.
Coleman Jr throws a body kick that misses.
Macale works Coleman Jr's body with a nice hook.
Coleman Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Macale.
Macale misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Macale.
Macale jabs Coleman Jr to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Macale scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coleman Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Macale holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tiao Macale was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Macale takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Coleman Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Macale but Macale pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Coleman Jr tries to land a leg kick but Macale saw it coming and moves away.

Coleman Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Macale sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Macale throws out a loose jab but Coleman Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Macale goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Macale works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Macale lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Macale clobbers Coleman Jr with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Macale sizes up Coleman Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Macale throws a body shot but no joy.
Macale throws a jab when Coleman Jr was well out of range.

Coleman Jr takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Coleman Jr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Coleman Jr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Coleman Jr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Macale does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Macale desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Coleman Jr is keen to just control but Macale is a slippery customer.
Coleman Jr looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Coleman Jr lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Coleman Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Macale doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coleman Jr.
Macale is controlling Coleman Jr's position as best he can from this difficult position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coleman Jr swings around for an armbar but Macale sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Coleman Jr's guard.
Macale postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Macale tries to free his leg and advance position but Coleman Jr is retaining full guard.
Macale wants to control from the top but Coleman Jr keeps moving.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Macale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coleman Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tiao Macale.
Macale misses with a hook.

Tiao Macale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Macale lands a lovely overhand right.
Macale throws a hook but Coleman Jr blocks it.
Macale missing with a left hand there. Coleman Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Coleman Jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Coleman Jr slows the pace down in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Macale is defending against the submission attempts here by Coleman Jr.

I would just about give that final round to Tiao Macale.
I think Macale has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tiao Macale decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
