Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uriah Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uriah Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Will Goodman!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots in but Goodman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cruz blocks a head kick by Goodman.
Goodman scores with a jab.
Cruz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Goodman avoids it really well and circles away.
Goodman slips a jab from Cruz.
Goodman tries a head kick but it misses.
Cruz staying out of range there.

Cruz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cruz showed some decent athleticism there.
Cruz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Cruz wants to get back to his feet.

Cruz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Goodman is just riding it out for now. Cruz eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cruz perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Uriah Cruz just wasn't active enough.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Uriah Cruz.

Cruz goes for a double leg but Goodman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goodman continues to drive forward.

Cruz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Goodman lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cruz backwards.
Goodman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Goodman makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Cruz is trying to pull guard but Goodman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Cruz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Goodman fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Cruz throws a leg kick
and Goodman counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Goodman looks at the referee who does nothing so Goodman lands a crushing right that sends Cruz to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Goodman!
An out of breath Will Goodman thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
