Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Trace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brackston Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jesus Trace has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jesus Trace seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan tries to clinch up but Trace circles away and keeps his distance.

Duncan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duncan lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duncan wants to control from the top but Trace keeps moving.
Duncan postures up.
Duncan passes into half guard.
Duncan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Trace knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trace wants to control but Duncan is keeping busy.
Duncan wants to take a breather but Trace is having none of it.
Duncan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Trace wants to control but Duncan is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Duncan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Trace!

Trace tries to hold on but Duncan pushes him away.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jesus Trace just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Trace gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Duncan counters with a takedown into side control.
