Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruise Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satan Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat Theme. Lopez has chosen Evisceration Plague as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Bruise Lee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bruise Lee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruise Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Satan Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Lopez gets caught flat footed, as Lee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lopez wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lopez keeps trying to improve his position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bruise Lee has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Lopez gets caught flat footed, as Lee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lee forces his way into half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Lopez manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Lopez has wrist control.
Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Our spies down at at Weed Nation inform us that Lopez has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Lee wants to get up but he can't break Lopez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Lopez is keeping the position.
Lee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lee tries for a takedown but Lopez circles away easily

and Lopez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lee's guard.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lopez on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lopez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lopez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lee seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lopez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lopez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lee wants to stand and escape but Lopez is having none of it.

Lopez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lopez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruise Lee will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Lee has managed to clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lee shoots in and gets a takedown into Lopez's guard.
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Lopez is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bruise Lee.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bruise Lee will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lopez, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like Satan Lopez has been cut.
Lopez takes an elbow to the forehead.
Lopez on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stalling in the clinch from Lee.
Lee gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Lee ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lee no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Lopez drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Lopez off! Lopez jumps back into Lee's guard.

Lopez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lopez has Lee in his guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Bruise Lee wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.

Lee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lopez to the ground. Lee is now in Lopez's guard.
Lee stays in close to Lopez's body and controls the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruise Lee wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Lee drives through with a takedown into Lopez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Lee wants to control from the top but Lopez keeps moving.

Bruise Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lee prevents a takedown attempt there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bruise Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Satan Lopez spoke after the fight, saying 'I can't do nothing right! Man, I must've not worshiped hard enough or sold my soul for a better deal. But I'll be back, like Arnold.'.
